The Executive Committee held a meeting Tuesday night to determine the status of the 2020 Spring Assembly.
In light of Warranty Three, That all decisions be reached by discussion vote and whenever possible by substantial unanimity, in the best interest of all involved and with a heavy heart, the Executive Committee voted to cancel the 2020 Spring Assembly.
We ask that the members who’ve made individual reservations with the hotel cancel them as soon as possible.

Big Island of Serenity 2020 AFG Convention
31st Annual AFG Florida South Convention with A.A. Participation
August 21, 2020 - August 23, 2020Date: July 16, 2020
Subject: Big Island of SerenityDue to the current situation in Florida, please let all your members know that The Big Island of Serenity Convention has been POSTPONED until August 20 -22, 2021.
For all those currently registered for The Big Island of Serenity all monies will be held for convention next year. If the member already has a room reservation at The Bonaventure, they can either cancel their hotel reservation or change it to the new dates.
The Alateen Program has been reinstated and there will be a full Alateen program next year.
The registration form will be taken down from the web until the beginning of September to avoid confusion. However, the printed registration forms are still good even though the dates are incorrect.
The entire convention committee is committed to have the best convention ever. We all look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.
